Greetings Scottie Fans!

All you Scottie Fans it’s time to stand up and clap your hands!! The summer has flown by, it seems like just yesterday that we were at the Scottie Sports Banquet, honoring our student athletes and the graduating class of 2024; best of luck to them and there incredibly bright futures.

Another year of Scottie Activities is upon us, and all our extracurricular activities are great fun for the whole family. Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, and Cheer, along with the Speech and Drama teams, will soon be hard at practice. The Band will be firing up that iconic school song.

Your Scottie Booster Club is a major partner with all our school’s programs, and we are again asking for your continued help in supporting our Students, Athletes, Speech & Drama Teams, Band & Choir Members, along with the Cheer Squad. Your Scottie Booster Club was able to give to your school $26,913.75 this past year, spread across a wide range of needs that the school is not able to meet with its budgeting concerns. Your Booster Club is behind the school administration in there efforts to upgrade the outdoor sports facilities and the high school as they are in dire need of an upgrade and the Scottie booster Club paid for the studies and advertisements on the Scottie Field Recharge in the amount of $11,015.93 these funds were taken out of the Capital Improvement Fund that has been set up to help our school with these types of expenditures.

The booster club provided $3,000 in scholarships to former Scottie and area students through the (JJMT) Jeff Jurgens Memorial Tournament. Your booster club also made contributions in 2023 to the Montana Community Foundation in the amount of $10,000 and it is currently valued at over $305,154 and your club has also contributed $40,000 to the capital improvement fund and it is currently valued at over $117,380.

On behalf of the directors of your Scottie Booster Club I would like to invite you to renew your membership at this time. We would like to thank all of you that have shown your true Scottie spirit, with all the vehicles around town and even throughout our great state seeing all the Scottie Plaid license plates, we receive compliments even from our rivals. Remember that not only do they look great on your car or pickup but $20.00 a year goes directly to your Scottie Booster Club. Just ask for them when you renew your plates, and you can even get them customized if you like.

I would like to again thank the rest of the Booster Club board they all put a lot of time and effort in throughout the year; Vice President Ryan Fast, Secretary/Treasurer Ruth Ann Hutcheson, Voting Directors Amber Kirkland, Jace Ball, Gil Johnson, Andrew McKean, and former Superintendent Wade Sundby along with our Non-voting Director former Vice Principal/Athletic Director Brenner Flaten. They did an excellent job for you this past year. We would like to welcome new Scottie Athletic Director Dalton Reid to our great community and the Scottie booster board as a non-voting director; and congratulate Brenner Flaten on his appointment to the Superintendent position as well as being appointed to represent the school board on the Scottie Booster Club as a voting director.
